MODULO is a design system comprising of nine polygonal modules, consisting of six plain modules and three shaped modules. It offers a contemporary take on the traditional terrazzo floor, going beyond being a mere assortment of versatile designs. Instead, it presents an intricately decorative solution that can harmonize with a wide range of décors. Personal preferences can dictate the selection of shapes and color combinations. The Modulo Collection is produced in Italy. When it comes to colors and sizes, the color palette evokes the ambiance commonly associated with 1950s Italian architecture. There are two available palettes, each featuring distinct colors and marble chip sizes. The Mix/L palette boasts a diverse range of colors and smaller marble chips, while the Tone/XL palette offers more uniform shades and larger marble chips. The available shades encompass natural nuances of grey, beige, red, and brown, and the finish is presented in a matte style.
Each tile in the Modulo collection features a up to 80% recycled marble content that is combined with cement to create a durable, eco-friendly, long-lasting and water resistant surface.
The slip resistance of the terrazzo can also be adjusted according to the requirement of the space, and ranges up to R13.
