For the refined tea tasting room within the Newby Teas chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, our team crafted a bespoke reflective ceiling installation that seamlessly blends innovation, elegance, and craftsmanship. This golden mirrored ceiling was conceived to elevate the sensory experience of tea tasting by creating a warm, luminous environment that enhances the intimacy of the space. Its surface reflects light and form in a dynamic interplay, adding both visual depth and a sense of prestige that aligns perfectly with the Newby Teas brand identity.

As a company celebrated for its dedication to quality and tradition, Newby Teas sought an interior that would speak to their heritage while embracing contemporary design sensibilities. By working in close collaboration with X CONTRACT, we were able to bring a bold, three-dimensional concept to life, resulting in a sculptural ceiling that not only captivates visually but also complements the chalet’s luxurious alpine surroundings. This installation stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design in transforming a space, offering guests a uniquely immersive and elegant tea tasting experience.
