Trap 1 Modular Terrazzo Tiles
Trap 1 is a geometric terrazzo tile from the Modulo Collection, defined by its distinctive trapezoidal form that lends itself to bold pattern play and spatial rhythm. Its crisp angles and clean edges allow for seamless repetition or creative asymmetry, offering designers a highly flexible and contemporary surface solution. Whether used to create linear formations or tessellated configurations, Trap 1 brings a graphic architectural language to both floors and walls.
Shown here in a warm, sunbaked tone from the Tone/XL palette, Trap 1 features large-scale marble chips embedded in a soft, matte cement base. The color evokes the clay-rich hues of Mediterranean landscapes, echoing mid-century Italian architecture while feeling entirely modern. The terrazzo’s matte finish softens the visual contrast between aggregate and binder, giving the tile a grounded, natural aesthetic.
Made in Italy using up to 80% recycled marble, Trap 1 is a durable, water-resistant, and sustainable material designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its slip resistance can be customized up to R13, making it suitable for everything from residential hallways to outdoor public plazas.
As with all tiles in the Modulo Collection, Trap 1 is fully customizable. Choose from the vibrant, fine-aggregate Mix/L palette, the earthy tones and larger chips of the Tone/XL palette, or request a bespoke finish tailored to your project’s needs.
