Eelgrass Wooden Lamella
Eelgrass Wooden Lamellas combine natural eelgrass with wooden slats to create a clean, high-performance acoustic system for walls and ceilings.
Made in Denmark in collaboration with JJI, each panel pairs pressed eelgrass mats with precision-cut wooden lamellas—crafted without harmful chemicals or synthetic binders.
Lamellas are available in rounded or square profiles and a range of finishes. Spacing can be adjusted to suit your design or acoustic needs.
Panels feature natural tones—from warm browns to muted greens—and carry a subtle sea scent, bringing softness and texture to interiors.
The full system is fire-rated B‑s1,d0 and offers Class A or B sound absorption depending on lamella spacing. It’s ideal for projects needing both acoustic and fire performance.
All materials are recyclable and low-emission. Eelgrass offers additional benefits like moisture regulation and mold resistance.
